Mixed Media Sketching Techniques

7pm to 9pm

As always Demos and Workshops are free to members- New members welcome!
There is a list of things you will need to bring
A piece of watercolour paper no bigger than A3 ( decent weight) taped to a support board
Charcoal
Graphite
Water soluble graphite or graphite pencil
Some pencils B2-B6/9
A hard rubber
A small water pot and a smallish flat brush
Soft pastels in dark brown , warm brown , light grey, various greens from dark to light and a bit of white
Don't worry if you don't have all the pastels and pencils just bring what you have!
The aim is to explore various sketching techniques then use the reference photo to create a Mixed Media work. Encouraging Artists to try new techniques and push people out of their comfort zone into exploration.
