Barrow Society of Artists are attending the Barrow Bid Christmas Stamp Trail on Saturday. You will find us in the Bridge between 10am and 4pm. Cathy Holmes Pastel Workshop ​ Monday 3rd November 7pm to 9pm  Hawcoat Memorial Hall ​ This November Cathy will be giving her third demo to BSA but this time she has put kits together for 14 people to paint along and try their hand at painting with pastels.     It’s on a a first come first served basis so the first 14 to arrive will be given a paint along kit.  There is room to watch for those who just want to see Cathy's demo. Reminder its the final Life Drawing of this year on Friday 21st November! This is an untaught class, there is a fee of £5 to pay for the model, hall rental and tea and coffee and biscuits. Just bring your favourite drawing/ painting gear and come and get creative. The unguided class allows you to develop at your own pace. Life Drawing classes are great practice to improve your observational skills and helps get you up to speed as the model changes poses at timed intervals.
