Welcome to Barrow Society of Artists Home Page.

We are a not for profit membership holding group who meet up with other artists and promote original art activities and events in the local areas.

Current Members are all different skill levels from beginners to professional. We try as a group to explore many different mediums and techniques. 

We hold regular talks, workshops and art demonstrations at Hawcoat Memorial Hall, Barrow in Furness.

Our Artists range from traditional landscape artists, realist animal artists, plein air specialists, experimental free form artists, digital artists, potters, glass painters, and sculptors and portrait artists.

We are a creative group.
 
Often inspired by the Lake District with its natural beauty and the Industrial area with its ports and sea activity.
There should be something to suit every  aspiration and inspiration.
