Art in the Park is one of the Art centred activities going on in Ulverston this weekend. Barrow Society of Artists are there on Sunday.
Members such as well known local artist Jack Webster have already got themselves a table, local photographer Al Milby is also in attendance so there will be many different styles of Art to view at this event which promises to be a nice day weather wise. We would be delighted to see you there!
Ford Park should be a hub of activity and definitely not a quiet Sunday. The Society have a few members exhibiting low cost work and prints and we will also be able to provide information on becoming a member of our Society so you can get creative with us!
The Dock Museum is also open to view Barrow Society of Artists Exhibition 2025. Red dots are appearing on paintings which means many Artists are doing happy dances because someone has appreciated their work enough to purchase it to hang in their homes. Congratulations go to Alan Calvert, Amanda Hetherington, Cathy Holmes, Sian Jeffreys, Hannah Willetts, & Terry Marshall who have all sold one or two works of Art that are currently being displayed in the Exhibition.

It was an eventful day at the Dock Museum today (Saturday 4th May) as Artist in Residence for the day, Cathy Holmes and Tracy Garnett, enjoyed the busy hive of people visiting the Dock Museum.

Next Saturday is Patsy Derry's turn to be Artist in Residence at the Dock Museum to talk to you about her Artistry. See an example of Patsy Derry's work below.
